Featuring 70 artists from Alberta, Canada, and the world perform on five daytime and two evening stages in concerts and sessions — unpredictable mash-ups where artists collaborate in unique and unexpected ways, sharing songs and stories. It’s a destination event and essential community gathering for 53,000 Calgarians and tourists, run by 2,000 community volunteers.

Artist in residence: Geneva L. Haley
Calgary Folk Music Festival's 2022 artwork was created by this year’s artist-in-residence, central Alberta illustrator and designer Geneva L. Haley. With her whimsical storytelling through illustration, Haley created a portal to an enchanting and dreamlike world on Prince's Island Park — perfectly matching the Festival's charming and adventurous spirit.
